Deba Brothers Plastic Slat for Sows is integrally injection‑molded from PP polypropylene material. Thickened reinforced ribs on the back deliver high load‑bearing capacity, making it suitable for sow farrowing crates and gestation stalls. Reasonable slotted gaps allow manure and urine to pass through directly to keep the pen dry and hygienic. The anti‑slip textured surface prevents injuries to sow hooves and teats. Side snap‑lock joints enable easy installation and disassembly. It features good acid and alkali resistance, supports high‑pressure water washing and disinfection, and offers a long service life. Multiple standard sizes are available, and it can be used as a matching part for complete farrowing crates.
Deba Brothers Plastic slats for sows is specially developed for sow stalls. Its excellent load-bearing capacity ensures normal movement of sows and guarantees their safety. The full-slatted design allows manure and dirt to drain rapidly, keeping the plastic floor clean. Featuring unique toughness and strength of PP material, the floor resists cracking and brittleness for a long service life.

Compared with other Plastic Slat for Sows on the market, our product features the following key strengths:
Our floor is integrally injection-molded from virgin PP polypropylene raw material, free of recycled-material impurities. It is UV-resistant and not prone to brittleness and cracking, resisting aging and fracture for long-term use in barn and outdoor environments. The one-piece injection-molded construction eliminates bonding joints and screw-connection gaps. It avoids dirt accumulation, allows thorough washing and disinfection, and reduces bacterial growth.
Full-slotted structure enables fast removal of sow manure and moisture, keeping the floor clean and dry. Smooth rounded edges and evenly distributed slots with minimal burrs prevent injuries to sow hooves and teats.
Polypropylene delivers outstanding toughness. The floor resists breakage under sow trampling and heavy-object impact, with good anti-drop and pressure-resistant performance.

We own our independent manufacturing plant to guarantee product quality. Below is an introduction to the production process of Plastic Slat for Sows.
First, the required raw materials are blended. Virgin PP polypropylene pellets are used as the main raw material, with UV-resistant anti-aging agent, antioxidant and color masterbatch added in proper proportions. After the materials are fully mixed, the drying process starts. The PP raw materials are dried at a temperature of 60-80 ℃ to remove moisture, so as to ensure the mechanical strength and surface quality of finished products.
The blended pellets are fed into the barrel of a large-scale injection-molding machine and melted by sectional heating, with the barrel temperature controlled at 180-230 ℃. The rotating screw fully plasticizes the raw materials into a homogeneous melt. Under high pressure, the melt is rapidly injected into the customized mold cavity. All structures including manure-leaking slots, back reinforcing ribs, side snap-locks and surface anti-slip textures are pre-formed inside the mold and filled in one complete shot.
After injection, continuous holding pressure is applied to compensate for PP cooling shrinkage. This prevents sink marks, short shots and internal voids, and ensures dimensional accuracy of the floor as well as compactness of reinforcing ribs.
Subsequently, cooling and solidification, mold opening and burr removal are carried out to obtain the finished product.

For Plastic Slat for Sows, two pieces are interlocked face-to-face during packing. This method effectively prevents damage caused by compression during transportation. The whole goods are tightly wrapped with stretch film and secured by packing straps, then palletized for greater stability in transit.
