2025-04-17

I. Equipment Maintenance Management

Feeding Equipment

Feeder: Regularly clean internal debris and accumulated materials, adjust/replace the grain wheel, and oil the cylinder and other parts for maintenance.

Pneumatic Feeder: Clean debris, replace the air bag, and check the air source pressure.

Feed Line Main Unit: Clean the surface and filter, check the wire connection, sensor and heat dissipation components, and replace the lubricating oil regularly.

Drinking System

Automatic Drinker: Replace worn parts (such as water pipes, gaskets), calibrate water volume and pressure.

Ordinary Drinker: Regularly clean the water cup sediment, check the sealing and replace damaged parts.

Other Equipment

Blower: Lubricate the bearings every month, clean the dust on the fan blades and shutters, adjust or replace the loose belt, and check the stability of the motor. ‌Water curtain‌: clean spider webs and debris, check water pump performance monthly, change water source weekly and add algaecides, keep dry‌.

2. Maintenance of environmental control facilities ‌

Temperature control and ventilation ‌

‌Cooling device‌: clean import and export debris, check water pumps and pipeline valves to prevent blockage‌. ‌Environmental control equipment‌: calibrate sensors, clean internal dust, and update computer programs‌. ‌Pig house structure maintenance‌ ‌Ground and slatted floor‌: repair cracks or holes, spray sealant to increase concrete hardness‌. ‌Skylight/side window‌: check the stability of the winch, clean track debris, and ensure flexible opening and closing‌. ‌

3. Maintenance plan and daily management ‌Develop a maintenance plan‌ ‌

Patrol and record equipment problems daily, and assign maintenance tasks according to priority‌. ‌Arrange special personnel to check specific facilities such as pens, floors, and feeders every week/month‌. ‌Priority division‌

Prioritize the treatment of threats to animal safety (such as leakage, water and feed restrictions), ventilation/temperature control failures and manure leakage.

Disinfection and cleaning‌

‌Pre-resumption repairs: divided into three steps: maintenance, high-pressure washing, and disinfection, focusing on the roof, ground, and dead corners.

‌Daily disinfection‌: Use chemical or high-temperature disinfection equipment to block the spread of pathogens.

4. Management of wearing parts and consumables

‌Regular replacement‌: fan belts (about 5 years), sensors, filters, seals, etc. ‌Lubrication and maintenance‌: Mechanical moving parts (such as augers and bearings) are filled with lithium-based grease every month. ‌Through systematic maintenance processes and priority management, the life of the facility can be effectively extended, the health of the pig herd and production efficiency can be guaranteed.
